Bridges, paths where no cars are allowed

A historic 1920s bridge, called the Lone Wolf Bridge, was recently restored for use exclusively by people on foot or on people-powered vehicles. Another path, the Red Arroyo project, is also in the works.

According to the San Angelo Standard Times: “It will provide off-street connectivity to (or near) retail businesses, indoor/outdoor activity centers, churches, parks, major employers, the university, elementary schools and a large stadium, as well as connecting major neighborhoods… Given its central location, the Red Arroyo pathway will serve residents from multiple neighborhoods within the city.”
